In 1985, the first symposium of "Technologists for drying and storing" was organized by Prof. Zvonko Katić, with help of Prof. Ferdinand Vešnik and assistents Tajana Krička, Nadica Dobričević and Stjepan Pliestić. Unselfish help was also provided by colleagues Ivo Pavić - PPK Kutjevo, Požega, Croatia, Ivica Kožić - Žitar, D. Miholjac, Croatia and Zdravka Jakovac, Martin Tekić i Mijo Lovreković - Jasinje, Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
During all the years that passed by, we shared both rises and falls, tending to improve the control system, storing and processing of agricultural products. Since 1991 and until today, Croatian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Croatian Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship and Croatian Ministry of Education, Education and Sports supported us, as well as a number of other institutions.
It is our wish that this Congress, which covers field of post-harvest technology of agricultural products, stays a regular meeting place for cognition of new scientific accomplishments, and exchange of experiences.
Therefore, we are inviting you to take part in our "20th Croatian and 3rd International Congress of Technologists for Post-Harvest Technology ZRNKO '08" with the possibility to participate with oral or poster presentation, by presenting your company, or simply as a participant.
